Episode 62: My Biggest Regret Was Not Doing This Sooner…
Hello everyone, and welcome, welcome, welcome to yet another episode of Kosmo Unfiltered.
As usual, it’s me Kosmo… and the real star of the show, Wes!
And boy, oh boy, is today’s episode gonna be a good one. Today we’re gonna be talkin’ about my biggest regret AND what I did about it.
So if you want to be able to laugh and shame me for my regrets, then you gotta stick around.
Let’s get started!
And if you like what we’re doing, please feel free to like, subscribe and share on whatever platform you’re watching on.
Oh, and if you REALLY like what we’re doing, why not share with a friend? After all, we don’t run ads or promotions or any of that garbage.
Let’s dive in!
I was 50 Years Old When Someone Said This to Me
So growing up, I mean, my childhood was just okay.
I mean, my parents liked me, but we didn’t have any special relationship with each other, you get me?
And I mean my grandma, too… we had a good relationship. The only issue is that she grew up in the 1930s, like the years of the great depression and stuff like that, so ya’know… often she’d say things like…
“Shut your mouth before I hit you over the back of the head with a shovel.”
I mean, she actually did once, but we’ll save that story for another day.
But anyway…
Ya’know there were times when we were running around the streets until like 1 am every night. We were only like 6 or 7 years old.
So for those of you who wanted a little backstory into the life of Kosmo, there you go. But the reason I tell you this is because I was 50 YEARS OLD when someone first said to me:
“Good job, son.”
Can you believe that?
I just got into my truck and thought… “Holy shit… that’s the first time someone has said that to me.”
My #1 Regret
But at the end of the day, I don’t think my biggest regret has anything to do with family.
If I’m being honest, my biggest regret was not being more business savvy at an earlier age.
I mean, let’s be honest here, entrepreneurs make up like 2% of the population. So, the majority of stuff you see on the news and hear from the government is nothing to do with being business savvy.
But I promise you, there is almost no downside whatsoever to becoming business savvy at an earlier age. None.
To all those young guys and girls who watch or listen in to us, don’t forget that.
Another big regret that I have is to be sitting on my deathbed, taking my last breaths, and actually having a regret.
I mean, I get that, to a certain point, there’s not really much I can do about it.
But it’s definitely still something that I think about.
And I heard this one before…
But before you die, your whole life doesn’t flash before your eyes, but all your regrets do.
And I don’t want that to be me.
