Episode 65: We Tried The Viral TikTok Pasta Recipe… With a Twist
Hello everybody, and welcome, welcome, welcome to yet another episode of Kosmo Unfiltered.
As usual, it’s me, Kosmo, and I’m joined by my boy, Wes.
And in today’s episode, we’re gonna be talking about a recipe that’s gone viral in the last couple of weeks. One that has BLOWN UP on TikTok.
And now, we don’t know if it’s still a trend by the time you’re reading this… but in today’s episode, we are gonna be discussing the baked feta pasta recipe.
So let’s jump right into it!
But first, if you like what we’re doing, please go ahead and smash the like button and leave us thumbs up. After all, we do all this for free!
And if you really enjoyed it, why not share it with a friend? Maybe they’ll enjoy the baked feta pasta as much as you will!
So let’s get started!
What We Did with This Recipe
So we didn’t just follow the rules with this pasta recipe… oh no!
Wes and I decided to smoke the chicken with some cherry tomatoes, then put it on the Webber.
And I know that sounds a little strange, but I like to do it opposite of a steak. I like to put it over the fire, get a bit of color, then cook it.
So that only takes like a minute and 30 seconds, maybe a minute and 40-ish.
Then you can put that aside and put some feta cheese with cherry tomatoes on the cast iron. That normally goes on until you can hear some of the tomatoes popping. That’s normally your cue that it’s nearly ready.
We then boiled up some penne pasta (which I think I can finally pronounce now) and took a fork to mash up the tomatoes and cheese, adding the pasta and the boneless chicken thighs to it.
After that, it all went back on the cooker with a little bit of Monterey jack over it.
And this whole thing was just… incredible.
I mean, I don’t know if I’ve ever heard of a baked feta pasta competition, but I wouldn’t be afraid to take that toe to toe with somebody.
But all in all, this recipe was incredible. It just has that beautiful taste to it where you can tell it’s not done in an oven, and the flavors are so much better because of that.
